For a little while now we have been working away on the big 1.3 update to Square Off on WP7 and we just published it on the marketplace! Here are some of the updates and features: – Online high-scores and ladders! – Enhancements to movement control – German language support – A number of stability / bug fixes – Smaller download size for new users (20MB) We have also decided to release a free, ad-supported version. It has the same features as the full version, except ad banners will display while you are playing. Check it out here.

Well, sort of. We submitted the gold release on Wednesday for release on Friday, however we had a minor audio issue in the game that made it fail Microsoft certification :(. If the music was muted in the game, after exiting it kept the settings for the master phone volume! All is good though, we have re-submitted and aim to release the game this Monday the 2nd of May. In the meantime, here is a release trailer of the game!

We are getting ever closer to releasing Square Off for Windows Phone! We are currently aiming for an April release. Although the blog has been quiet for a little while, behind the scenes it has been a hive of activity with everyone hard at work to port Square Off to Windows phone! We hope to release it soon, and we are currently in beta sorting out the final touches. Here is a small WIP trailer on how it is looking on the Windows Emulator:
